Rieschel Family Scholarship
for Science & Technology

To encourage skill-development and leadership in the pursuit of STEM fields among college-bound students in the Big Sky and Gallatin Valley area, the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation is proud to award the Rieschel Family Scholarship for Science and Technology.

The $5,000 Rieschel Family Scholarship is awarded each spring to one local high school senior pursuing interest in STEM fields – science, technology, engineering, and math.

We want to identify and encourage the passions of high school students in STEM fields,” said Yucca Rieschel, a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. “We are looking for innovative minds, creative minds, minds that inspire others, students who want to give back to their community.”

“These students can be anything from computer whizzes who trouble-shoot networks for local nonprofits to budding environmental scientists who spend their weekends repairing trails,” Rieschel added. “We are looking for bright students who want to broaden these skills into careers and lasting community impact.”
