The Black Diamond giving program represents a three-year commitment of $10,000 or more to the Yellowstone Community Foundation. This sustained support allows the Foundation to fund initiatives that bolster the vibrant Big Sky region, including annual grants, sponsorships, and scholarships as well as Big Sky Thrift, Volunteer Big Sky and the Social Impact Hub, a nonprofit coworking space.

YCCF Community Series: Summit with Ciara

Join the Foundation and our VP of Philanthropy, Ciara Wolfe, for local favorite, Beehive Basin! Beehive Basin is a 6.6-mile out-and-back trail in Big Sky, Montana—and it’s a local favorite for good reason. The hike climbs steadily with about 1,500 feet of elevation gain, and you’ll catch some awesome views of Lone Peak on the way up. After 3.3 miles, you’ll reach Beehive Basin—a stunning glacial cirque with a clear alpine lake and even better views. The trail gets a little steep in spots, so expect to work for it a bit (unless you're a total mountain goat).
